A number of clubs are reportedly interested in Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch, with the struggling Essendon leading the pack, according to Fox Sports.

Crouch is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to re-sign with the Crows, who sit in 5th position on the AFL ladder, looking good for a shot at the premiership.

The 22 year old has struggled with injury the last two seasons, after suffering a foot injury in 2015 saw him miss the entire year, while he has been in and out of the side this season, managing just the six games.

Fox Sports reports that while Essendon focus is retaining their suspended players for the 2017 season, the Bombers have declared that there is "significant" interest in luring the former Victorian back home.

Should Crouch leave the Crows and nominate the Bombers as his club of choice, the Bombers could use their likely first pick in the pre-season draft at the end of the season.
